Add an email signature in Outlook for Windows (classic)
Takes about two minutes. Where a step says to copy your signature, use the Copy signature button in Sigture's export dialog — or your personal signature page if your team sent you one.
- 1
In Sigture, open Export and click “Copy signature”.
- 2
In Outlook, go to File → Options → Mail → Signatures…
- 3
Click “New”, name it (e.g. “Work”), and click into the big edit box.
- 4
Paste with Ctrl+V. Your signature appears with full formatting.
- 5
Under “Choose default signature”, pick it for New messages and Replies/forwards.
- 6
Click OK. Compose a new email to confirm the rendering.
Good to know
Classic Outlook renders with Microsoft Word's engine — your export already includes VML buttons and MSO table fixes for it.
If images show as broken on first open, click “Download pictures” once; Outlook then remembers your choice for the sender.
Advanced: signatures live in %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Signatures — you can drop the exported .htm there under the same name Outlook created.
