Add an email signature in Mozilla Thunderbird
Takes about two minutes. Where a step says to copy your signature, use the Copy signature button in Sigture's export dialog — or your personal signature page if your team sent you one.
- 1
Download the HTML file from the Export dialog (Files → HTML file).
- 2
In Thunderbird, open ≡ → Account Settings.
- 3
Select your account, scroll to “Signature text”.
- 4
Tick “Attach the signature from a file instead”.
- 5
Click “Choose…” and select the downloaded HTML file.
- 6
Close settings — Thunderbird uses the file directly.
Good to know
Because Thunderbird reads the file each time, replacing the file updates your signature everywhere.
